Case study · Furano, Hokkaido

Building the world around Raven Outdoors.

A brand world, bilingual website, search foundation, and direct booking path for a Furano ski and fly-fishing guide.

The starting point

The name already existed. What was missing was a world that felt like him.

Raven Outdoors is Ryota’s Furano-based ski and fly-fishing guide business. Before the project, he worked mainly through his personal name, local referrals, social media, and commissioned groups from other guides and companies.

Ryota already knew the name: he is the raven. We did not replace that identity. We built the world around it so the brand could better represent his personality, his time in the mountains, and his way of guiding.

Search and enquiry path

After launch

The early period was quiet. Then search and enquiries began to move.

The site launched in April. We watched Search Console, adjusted the foundations, and waited for the signals to accumulate. In July and into August, email enquiries began arriving every day. January is already booked out, with a substantial part of February filled as well.

Ryota is the sickest guide I have ever skied with, and I feel like his new site really reflects him.
